Tasting Room Associate
Arché is a family owned and operated vineyard, winery and tasting room in the Red River Valley. Our focus is on creating premium wines from the grapes grown on the estate and providing an exceptional wine tasting experience for our guests. We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing team player who is passionate about wine. Our ideal candidate will create an amazing customer experience while telling our story and driving sales.
JOB DUTIES:
The job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Greet guests in a professional, cheerful and approachable manner
Inform guests about the days’ specials or upcoming events
Have good story telling skills to relay our story in an engaging manner repetitively throughout the day
Serve tastings and informatively talk about the wines served
Encourage guests to join our wine club, earning a bonus for each new member recruited
Accurately use POS system to transact sales and enter guest information
Thoroughly clean tasting room, bathrooms, patio and adjacent areas whenever needed
Bus tables and wash glasses
Replace wine stock in chillers and cabinets
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of one year tasting room, restaurant service or other relevant hospitality experience
Basic knowledge or willingness and ability to learn about wines, wine tasting and wine regions
Able to see, hear, taste, smell, feel, use hands and fingers, walk, twist, bend, crouch, reach, be on your feet for several hours at a time and move and lift up to 40 lbs
Able to read and write in English. Bilingual with any other language a plus as we receive visitors from all over the world
Work well with others in a fast-paced environment
Be a self-starter and fast learner, recognizing where and when tasks must be attended to without instruction
Honesty and strong work ethic
Reliability and committed to work the days and hours specified by management
Reasonable flexibility to work additional days and hours as requested by management

Kitchen/Bar Back
Arché is a north central Texas vineyard & winery in the Red River Valley. Our focus is on creating premium wines from the grapes grown on the estate and providing an exceptional wine tasting experience for our guests. Since we also provide food, we hold it to the same high standards of quality in ingredients, taste and presentation.
JOB DUTIES:
The daily job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Prepare and cook menu items in advance and as needed
Clean all dishes, tools, surfaces and appliances used during the food preparation and cooking processes
Sweep and clean floor in the kitchen area as needed and at the end of the shift
Assist with cleaning tasting room and patio as needed and at opening and closing
Buss tables, wash, polish and restock glasses/dishes and generally clean and sweep after guests depart from table in the tasting room and on the patio
Assist Tasting Room staff according to their needs with the following tasks: Serve glasses of wine, open bottles, serve food, stock wine chillers, cabinets and racks
Contribute as a team member with a cooperative and pleasant demeanor, helping when and where needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Basic knowledge of food handling
Food Handler’s Permit
