grapes hanging from vine

2025 Harvest Underway. Come and Join Us!

Pick grapes, eat food, drink wine! Meet us here Saturday morning, August 9, at 7:00 a.m. for our first harvest of 2025. We’ll be bringing in the Chardonnay, our signature white grape. As only one of a very few vineyards in the state of Texas growing Chardonnay, we take great care in maintaining the vines and hand harvesting at their peak of ripeness, and it takes a lot of hands.

Here Are the Details

  • 7:00 a.m. start time.
  • Must wear gloves (very important). We always have new pairs on hand so don’t fret if you forgot yours.
  • We have harvesting clippers for you to use but you are welcome to bring your own.
  • Wear closed-toe shoes (not sandals).
  • Bring your hat and sunscreen. Also, white or light-colored and light-weight long sleeves and pants really can keep you cooler in the sun than exposed skin.
  • Stay hydrated! We supply water or you may bring your own. Just keep drinking (water, that is)!
  • Have fun! If you get out here and find the heat is too much, you’re just not enjoying yourself or you simply need a break, feel free to hang out in the shade or tasting room. We want you to have a great experience.

After all the grapes have been picked, all harvest volunteers for the day will join us for lunch with wine and have first option of pre-purchasing the wine made from the grapes harvested. Sound like something you’d like to experience? You can sign up here.
